SoftBank Global Rental Purposes, etc. for Use of Personal Information by SoftBank

Personal information is used for the following purposes

• Provision of cellular phone rental services and announcement of information
• Study and development of new services regarding cellular phone rental servicesReceipt of bills for charges on cellular phone rental services, etc. and protection of account receivables (including when the handling of personal information is consigned to receive bills for charges)
• Market research on cellular phone rental services, etc.
• Implementation of prize competitions, campaigns, etc.
• Notification of our new products, services, campaigns, etc.
• Preparation of statistical figures for business analysis and use of analyzed results
• Response to a request for disclosure, etc. under the personal information protection law, and for monitoring and supervision regarding the handling of personal information
• Provision to third parties for the purposes specified in Section 2 below

Provision to third parties

• In the event that a customer fails to pay charges related to cellular phone rental services (transmission charges, reception charges rental charges, etc.) despite such charges being overdue for payment or a billing action taken, or a customer's credit card has expired, GSM Rentafone Pty Ltd. may assign delinquent receivables for the purpose of collecting payment in arrears by providing an assignee with the name, address, date of birth, the amount in arrears, etc. of that customer.
• When required to cooperate with a state or local public organization in the execution of their services with regard to declarations given to the applicable country's state or local public organization, etc, GSM Rentafone Pty Ltd. may offer personal information of the person who made the declaration to that country's state or local organization.
